Not from this site but i have friends from all over the world on other sites been speaking to them for years, some of them i feel as though i have met although im sure i never will but never say never

yes. i chatted to a guy in london for 2 yrs spoke everyday and texted too but we never met. had some good phone fun though

It depends on the quality and quantity of the banter IMHO.

I don't mind chatting, however, I do not like being hounded by messages after messages.

same here - i have known someone online for nearly 4 years now, we have never met but have had some great cam and phone sessions

I think it depends if the both of you know that you're not going to meet

I chat to some that I know I won't be meeting but still have a laugh and some good banter with them

I think it can cause problems if one of you wants to meet and the other knows its not going to happen but won't say so
