If you want to experience Spain as it used to be - with stunning scenery to boot - head for Nerja around May or September time - utter paradise without any of the crass 'full English breakfast' and 'Red Lion' pub stuff - trust me - you will LOVE it

We went last year....had a great time

Went on the strength of the 4 in a bed TV prog.. Looked gloriously seedy.

In summary

The old town is very nice (where we stayed)

The new bit (as seen on TV).... Erm, isn't (unless you are one ov da lads, English, and love a good fish n chips... None of that 'foreign' muck)

Donald isn't in it this season, I don't think. He was involved in filming to begin with but then had to leave during his battle with cancer. He died around August 2014 so we won't be seeing him anymore.
