Hello all

Over the festive period I recognised someone off this website

Now me being me and fairly shy by nature didn't make a big deal of it just smiled carried on walking and about 100meters later chuckled to myself

Although this is an open website for all I still believe that this lifestyle is still a private matter and people when going about there daily business possibly don't want people coming up and saying "your on fab ain't ya" granted this is different if you have built up a friendship on here

So what does everyone else do?

Phil xx

I'd totally agree with you on that one.

Met a few people from here "out n about". We acknowledge, we say hi etc...but without anyone knowing how we met/know each other etc.

I have a really good friend from here and we go out regularly. Sometimes we meet others, I say hi. She will always ask later if I know them from fab but would never be indiscreet!

My husband jumps up and down our cul de sac on a pogo stick (naked) screaming out to the neighbours, "we're on Fab" - they think he's potty and he has been taken away in a yellow van a couple of times.

I know if I was out with friends or family and someone approached me saying they had seen me on here I'd be mortified

Some people do. Because they are indiscreet morons.

It's beyond me why anyone would be so indiscreet as to approach a stranger.

I saw someone I know recently at the station, this is someone who has our numbers, who we've given lifts to and received lifts from and would consider a friend. I walked passed them and it was only when it was 100% obvious they were alone that I retraced and spoke. And to be honest I thought that was pushing it a bit as far as discretion went!

I too have recognised a couple of folks off this site in "real" life. As I am a gentleman I didn't say or do anything, just carried on walking. Discretion at all times in my books.

Doesn't everyone do the secret Fab gang hand sign?

I would never approach anyone if I recognised them from fab, wouldn't acknowledge them in any way, I wiukd hope people would do the same for me.

Had it happen - some people don't know what discretion is.

I'm 90% sure I saw Club Party Peeps once near Regents park a couple of years ago. Didn't even dream about going to say hello outside of a Fab/party/club environment.

Bit random but saw them from their website a few times so pretty sure it was them.
