Age range preference (yes again)

With all the threads on age preferences what are your reasons for your age range,

Is it just I have kids as young as you,

You are as old as my parents ?

A person who is 18 or as old as 60 can have similar lifestyle personality depending on there character or how they were brought up,

And a 18 year old can look a lot older just as a 60 year old can look a lot younger

I know I have set a age range but my filters are open and I know it is still just a preference I was just wondering being nosy interested in other peoples reasons,

If anything age is not as much a issue for me as the Woman's size being small and slim I just feel uncomfortable being with a larger Woman,

And yes it is just my preference

It's very annoying being 46! Quite a lot have age ranges of , say, 30-45. And as ken bruce would say I'm one year out!

I prefer younger guys, J prefers older guys, so ours is kind of a mix of two preferences.

In reality, we rarely meet guys under 35 but keep the age preference as it is cos there is the odd younger guy that, after much scrutiny, passes J's thorough application process

Agree on that. We have ages just like everyone but we give people a chance. As the older looking 18 yo can act and speak alot youbger. and sone older people can talk and act not their age either. It's all down to the person themselves.

For me, I've always had a mature outlook on life and got on better with older women, particularly friends of my parents. As a 16 year old I liked women in their 20s, now I'm in my 30s I normally go for women in their 40s and 50s. Although it's not an exact science for me. I wouldn't rule out any age if they had a similar outlook to me.

When I joined Fab I quickly realised I was having more fun with younger men. My preference and filters are set accordingly. The only slight difficulty is that I prefer older couples, but I get round this ok.

I change like the weather. At the moment its very young. When I change it to my age and allowed men to message me I get too much mail and I get a headache answering everyone. I tried doing my own searching and it stressed me out. I can never find anyone I want to mail. My area is saturated with men,it's a hard task going through them all even with the search criteria narrowed down

I do have age blocks as learnt by when I was here at the beginning, its another filter I use, i am a little flexible when meet at clubs but not much prefer a ages I'm comfortable with

I don't think it's about looks as much as if someone is a significant amount younger or older then I sometimes find it more difficult to chat to and click with.

Maybe I'm missing out on a few people by having filters set, but it's another way to narrow things down.

(Also, men below a certain age tend to remind me of my little brother and his friends, and above a certain age of my dad. Neither of which turns me on.)

I like guys to be not too young so thats why i went mid twenties and not to old as I havent ever really found a guy older than my preferences attractive

I go for both young men or young looking old men who have good manner and intelligence so age doesn't matter to me.

I don't fancy old looking young men by the way

Mine is because I have an adult son and find it slightly off putting when a guy the same age or similar messages me with interest...however I will point out that the same goes with women too...I tend to think I'm old enough to be your mother kind of thing...

My age limits are not set in stone as I'm well aware that attraction can catch you unawares sometimes. It very much depends on the individual and their attitude to life.

So you can have size preferences but think others should be flexible on age preferences because you are?

There's a lot more to me than my size so I think people should be flexible on size preferences because it would suit me!

Except I don't because we are all entitled to have our own preferences without having to evaluate them or justify them.

You'll just have to accept others are different from you and have different values, whether you understand them or not.

If someone is on my wavelength, and we find each other attractive, age isn't that important, however, I get messages from girls young enough to be my daughter and, whilst I'm very tempted, I do feel like a bit of a perv, so probably best left alone.

We have an age range purely because leaving it at 18-99 would make us look like lazy bastards with no interest in presenting an opinion.

But, fact is, we'd go outside the age range if we wanted, though not too far. I work daily with models in the 18-28 age bracket and I tell you what, I got nothing in common with these kids.

Yes, kids, that's how I, and we, view that age range.
