Anyone been discriminated because of their ink? And how do you guys see tattoos?

It's never happened to me personally yet...but one of my friends was turned down for a job purely because of his sleeve....

My old boss hated tattoos and wouldn't let anyone have them visible.

Lot of people think that tattoos are dirty or common looking or whatever.

On here it's just a preference like any other. Getting turned down because I had tattoos wouldn't bother me although no one has ever given that reason I've seen profiles with people saying they aren't keen.

I've got eleven tattoos but I don't like face ,hand,or neck tattoos.just a personnel thing I can understand why some people would not employ people with them, esp working in places like stores and so on .

I have 11 but most are easily hidden. I work with 20+ people & most have a tattoo or more, we did have an issue with management about them once but then they changed their minds as to many of us have them.
