As I've made sure my kids are packed off to their grandparents I've realised that it's just me jools Holland and some of his friends, although I have been saying that I've been looking forward to this for a while, I realised I'm quite lonely, I'm not looking for an invite, sympathy, or a poor old you shag, it just dawned on me that there must be loads of people on here, that feel lonleyness from time to time, so next year, be nice, give people the time of day, I'll be ok, but some don't have the option to go out and see friends, have a good one and don't do anything I wouldn't try twice lol x

having been single for 5 years now i get lonely to, thats part of the reason im on here. but i realise that ive been lonely all my life ..even when i was married or in a relationship.

some people are just born lonely i think.but when i look around and see so many people in bad relationships i realise im relatively happy compared to them

I'm always on my own but I don't often feel lonely these days. Christmas used to be the time I hated most for various reasons, but I've actually enjoyed this year

What really gets on my pip though is the token gesture invite from people who thing they're doing you a favour by inviting the 'sad' singleton

Quite happy on my own with some company now and again
