I stand corrected, Declan Patrick MacManus, whilst of Irish Heritage, was born in a London hospitalon 25 August 1954. Ooh nearly time to sing happy birthday to him.

So he's British and Irish.

just a thought next july in waterford in south ireland we are holding the tall ships race(its a massive event google it bout 150 thousand visitors over 2 days) sorry getting back to the point theres a free open air gig headlined by THE WATERBOYS ye all should come and make a weekend of it

Makes no difference, in the Isle of Man they don't consider themselves English, they are proud to be Manx.

Doesn't matter if your parents are from Outer Mongolia, born in the Isle of Man you are a Manx.

Very proud people up there.
