Ive already done my Elvis tribute - I took my sister to Graceland a couple of years ago.

Funny how everyone in Memphis used to be one of his best friends....

I can't believe the impact he can still have almost 40 years after his death, can't imagine any other person doing that

Just watched the programme by his family. Very sad and a point of view I'd not seen before.

We grew up in an Elvis house. My brother got married in Graceland and we stayed at the heartbreak hotel. He is by no means my favourite but I do love him.

Somewhere in North Norfolk

He certainly made an impact but I seem to be the odd woman out in not liking his music.

He was pretty hot in the early days though. It's a shame the fame and lifestyle took such a toll on him.

Too young to remember the man himself but I do remember growing up listening to my brother playing his songs morning, noon and night. It drove me crazy but now I'm all grown up I love Elvis, his voice, his music and especially how he rocked a black leather suit and curled up lip x

I appreciate his voice and sex appeal when in his prime, pre burger days, but the music never really did anything for me I'm afraid. I do however have Elvis vs JXL - A Little Less Conversation on disc and quite liked his last single Way On Down

I love elvis's music the great tragedy is that so many of these entertainers eventually don't seem able to handle the fame and fortune and it ends up killing them
