messages blocked

Hi we have just been blocked by fan from sending messages. It says try again in a cpl of hours and the block will be removed! Can anybody tell us why this has happened ?

Contact admin to ask them, but I'll hazard a guess at some sort of ban.

I say just suck it up and serve the ban.... as it seems you've already received all the information you really need....

Bringing attention to the situation here only serves to suggest petulance.....

Admin do a great job and when all is said and done receiving a temporary ban from messaging is a very lenient penalty....

You've been sent to the naughty step

You've exceeded the message allowance

I've not done either cos

a) I'm an and

b) I'm not popular

The message we got was you have been given a tempory ban as you have included a website address in your message. We had not done this so we thought we would post in forum to see if anybody else has had the same problem

In that case, refer back to my earlier advice. Contact admin using the link at the bottom of the page and discuss it with them.

You didn't get a ban, it is a block from sending messages because of something you have said in a mail

We got one once too

Yes we are not allowed to type other sites in pms, the reason you got the message was cos you tried to get around it by shortening the name or something.
