couple or single males

i dont see the point in this recently had a spate of mails from ''couples'' but when we say we dont play with couples (info in profile) it turns to a single males profile or we are told we can play with just him.

what benefit can they get from this?

They probably use it to get round filters. A lot of women and couple block single men so if a single guy has a couples profile he can then message you.
