Why do people remove and re-post the same picture back on? Is it just to remind people that they exist or any other reasons that I am missing? Thanks!

Because Charlie logs on on a Friday and would recognise the picture. So take it down and put it back Saturday

Simple answer to this dilemma.

Don't look at them if you don't like them.

It's up to them if they wish to repost same pic 100times if they want.

I move pictures back & forth from private to public so I assume this shows on the update feed?

Don't do it for any other reason then to rotate the pics.

It appears as a recently posted picture and might generate more interest it will also appear in their friends updates. Quite a good way of bringing yourself to people's attention.

It doesn't show as an update unless you've uploaded it as a new one; I do this all the time too.

This.

It's another tool to generate interest, a mass advert I suppose. Seen it happen with verification summaries too, each to their own.

because you can only upload so many and you get bored with looking at the same ones and like to change them every so often.

Nothing on here matters but people get so serious about things sometimes!

I reckon they do it just to antagonise people who are easily wound-up by trivial irrelevancies .....

if they need the buzz from posting the same pics over and over again, hey it's harmless and in this world, let them be,

I only re-post if I have sent a face pic to someone and they don't respond but don't delete the message,

The same face pic has been re-posted about 20 times now
