i find it quite interesting in the fact that you need to be verified to be contacted by most members on here but those that you have met cannot be bothered to verify you, it's a bit elitist and like the old cliche that you can't work here unless you have experience but can't get experience unless you have worked here. Even when you are polite and send mail, it is rarely answered and even there again is the clichéd, I will not answer unverified.

Yes I understand that there are those that choose not to answer but in general it is a sort of classism where we have the toys and decide who will join in our games. There are the double standards whereby you get criticised for not displaying a face pic,(when I always reply with a face pic)and the people who do the criticising have no face pic either, just a bland ass shot or crotch shot, looks go both ways you know. There are also the complainers who put so many restrictions in their posts that you would need to be an X man to fulfill them and then theses people complain that their meet never showed. For heavens sake people, look at your own profile before critising mine and remember what it was like when you joined this site. I expect I will get grief for posting this but hey ho, some people's attitudes need addressing.

Ahhhhh not seen a catch 22 thread in a while.....

Can't say I had any bother when i wasn't verified to be honest....just got on and messaged folk till I met someone, got a veri and guess what?

Made fuck all difference......don't put so much stock in them mate, allow them to be an issue and they will.......

thanks, it is a one sided issue though and just thought i would make a point of it. some people make demands and DO NOT stand by thier own requirements, Nero fiddles and Rome burns.

We've been verified after a social meet but I cant I say we've noticed a change in people we chat to being honest; we started posted on the forums when we were able and just made sure we read profiles and tailored our messages depending on those we were messaging.

OP I think you are pinning too much on the unverified thing. You won't see much difference when you are verified. One good reason the women on the forums have given against new accounts which are obviously unverified is apparently once the pubs shut a lot of single guys sign up here and mass mail single women for kicks. So check what time of day you are sending messages to avoid falling in with that group. And keep making the effort, if you are genuinely into swinging you will get there eventually, then you will find you still get rejected because you don't fit the persons criteria or they are busy with other meets or because it's Monday (other days are available) keep going, if you find the magic formula please pm me with it, don't share it with anyone else.
