so frustrating when couples ask 2 be friends yet they wont prove there genuine by cam or phone don't no why they bother asking

We don't cam but would speak on phone if required.

We expect a phone number before going on a meet in case of problems and no Internet connection, which has happened in the past.

We'd hope our veris would prove we're genuinely a real couple, but have had problems with other unverified couples ourselves so understand the dilemma!

sorry ...but it is an high risk indicator of an fake .. at a special point of a conversation it must be possible to have an phone call ..before a meeting

We have no interest in cam or Skype, we have no problem with a chat on the phone though, but to be fair none guarantee someone is genuine, sim cards are free and plentiful

The plenty of male halves of genuine cpls pissing about here pretending to be the fem half in addition to all out fake profiles.

There's various reasons why people cannot speak or hold basic convo on the phone. From just fake, cant, wont, scared or not a conversation kind've person it doesn't bode well for a decent meet.

Grown adults looking to meet others for likeminded fun who cannot speak on the phone. Yeah right.

I don't go on cam but happy to chat on the phone. I've met guys who wouldn't but going on their profile and veri's and the fact they turned up, they certainly weren't fake. There are other factors to consider other than not going on cam or talking on the phone before you can accuse someone of being fake.

one way sim or contract ..anyway and i prefer the one way solution. it comes to hear the voice and to make an appointment in person. So I can be comparatively sure the woman is a woman... and with Couples I want also be sure that the woman is as part there too.

I will avoid a phone call if we can and do feel a bit pissed of if people want a call to prove we're genuine, we have loads of veri's including up to date ones and always do a social first in fact usually us asking first to meet quickly rather than loads of messaging. Don't understand why someone still needs a phone call?

Different if no meet veris though.

We don't and won't cam, that stuff can be easily recorded and we don't want you to have our number either until a meet is arranged then we're happy to talk on the phone. We wouldn't use these examples to determine who's fake or not there's other obvious ways to work that out and if you have any doubts about a profile then move on to a profile that doesn't raise doubts for you.

Think I've had a phone conversation 5 times tops before meet and I've never cammed... And the few convos I've been forced to have were uncomfortable as I don't like speaking on the phone and do not do phone sex. Face to face I'm fine, text I'm fine, but for some reason I hate speaking on the phone which isn't helped when someone seems to be calling from a tunnel so the signal constantly drops out!

Yes, like ours. But I don't play so is it really necessary? Just for the record we do send out our face pics to those we're looking to meet as we feel it's important especially if I open the door, wouldn't want a "who the hell is this" moment.

this day and age , i can't really understand why people can't just flick on a cam in a private room on fab like verified room for 30seconds to just show your face etc …

I guess though when you have a list of verifications like a telephone directory it moots that point though somewhat

Ok ..a phone call is no guarantee, of course, guarantees you get nowhere in relationships. But you can limit the risk of bullshitting and to have an phone call and sending and receiving a face pic is one instrument to prevent this .

L comes on the forum occasionally, she does read most of our messages and even replies to a few but prefers to leave it to me. So far we haven't needed to chat on the phone or cam to confirm that we're for real, but it's not really a massive issue if someone really wants us to.

I don't cam or talk on the phone. Im very much a 'ill do it on the night' kind of person, I can't be bothered with loads of chatting beforehand, that's why we have a messaging system on here.

I don't give my phone number as I don't want guys trying to talk dirty to me. I suppose it could look fake but we have many verifications and sorry but its just how it is. If people think we are too risky to meet then we are ok with that

it bothers me simply as if both parties can't be bothered to engage m equally then that says volume of the interest to me … I want to meet and interact with two people not just one .. if i wanted to chat with a single person i would do just that .. obviously not all couples can speak at same time but generally i see how hard it for people to not have 5min together to be able to communicate ..

Forums i don't really care about as its just banter on forums on all sites .. i am talking about phone calls etc texting etc .

I have no problem talking to one half of a couple initially but i will expect to start chatting with the other as well rather soon .. I have had people in past say oh she is shy on phones etc .. my response is generally to leave it at that .. shy people on calls , chats etc historically are shy in person which makes for painful times in my experience … (note that some people are just not good on phones etc and ok in meets, but i have found in 10years of swinging that is quite few and far between )

Exactly. People are free to run their profiles how they wish and in a way that suits them as others do. Move on if a particular profile doesn't do what you want as they are probably only doing what they want also.

We don't cam & I won't cam. My choice. We do have verifications & Like someone else said would rather not faff around messaging forever. Let's get an early social arranged & meet publically. I do give Mr _d40's number out closer to the time & will talk once the meet is sorted
