When I was meeting solo I couldn't accom and I can't drive. But, if I wanted to meet then I would make an effort to get there under my own steam.

I just take it as:

- Local meets (hosted by another)

- Hotel meets (local, once again)

- Cannot be bothered to fill out profile

...unless otherwise specified.

Although I agree they should probably expand on it in the body of their profile. Tad confusing at at times

My profile states can't accommodate and can't travel. It means I won't accommodate, and I won't travel outside my local area (happy to get on a bus, in a taxi but I'm not going long distance). Has served me pretty well so far, I don't see the problem!

we had 1 guy locally that said he cant accom or travel, sowe said ok you can come to ours. he then said hes no transport and would we pick him up

dont think so,not a taxi service lol

I don't accommodate and don't travel far at the moment as I'm not driving. I have men who pick me up,I don't ask them to they offer. It's freezing out and an hour and a half on a train is not going to be any motivation for me. I tend to do more travelling in the summer months. I have done a 3 hour round trip for a half hour meet before. I'm not doing that in this weather

I can't do either, I catch a bus or meet locally, if they offer me a lift home I'll except if not I make my own way home. We discuss over drinks how or if we meet again where to go.

Really not sure where the problem is here....not everyone chooses to have strangers in their home and not everyone drives or has access to a car....these things can easily be discussed and clarified during the messaging stage....couldn't be more simple really!

I'm also wary of travelling a long way only to be stood up. If I'm dubious I decline the offer,if they want to come to me that's up to them.

I wont accom as i have small children .i choose not to bring strangers home .

i dont drive yet .so i clearly state i will either make my way and need to be dropped close to home

This is exactly why I don't travel. I did, and that happened. Won't put myself in that position again.

When i read that on a profile i take it that they can't accomadate, so we won't be meeting at their home and that being as they also don't travel then we won't be meeting at all .... sinmple

And that is exactly as it should be, the same as with any information or preferences on a profile - if there is anything you don't like or doesn't suit you then you move onto the next profile. That way, everyone is happy

This.... It's never been an issue. Just because it states can't travel doesn't mean I won't for the right person. The list doesn't give you the option for this and it's way too boring to explain that I can travel occasionally so it's easier to say I can't! The same with accommodating..... Usually people that take the time to ask will find out.....
