I seem to get quite a few first messages calling me names.

Now it doesn't bother me at all. I give them triple the shit back and make them wish they hadn't started. I think they do it because they can't cope with a strong minded women.

Anyway do other women get abuse for no reason? Do you report or give shit back?

I really hope you give them hell.

I actually closed my single profile because I couldn't put up with the abuse I was getting. Name calling from std whore a danger to their health because of my veri's even though they were all socials lol. Been called a racist and men saying they feel sorry for my bf having to shag me. And all this because I said thanks but no thanks. Some of the messages I would get as an opening message.

You can only report abuse for so long before it gets too much xx

Its kids or those with a childish mentality. They think its funny and can often find angry responses funny too. "Trolling" has been a part of the internet for the last 20 years. Try not to be offended by it and Block / report it.

I've had it once from someone I respectfully disagreed with on the forum.

The PM I received was quite honestly some of the most vile and vitriolic abuse I've ever read.

I bit my tongue and reported it, no point in getting into a slagging match with a moron.

I've been here seven years. I've been "abused" on the forums because I have a mind of my own and could really care less if I tried.

I can count on one hand and still have room to make a rude gesture, abusive messages I've received. You can see the first few words so I simply delete unopened. I think total indifference rankles more: besides, why waste your time on non entities?

I really dislike the implication from some posters above that people only get abuse where they court it. I have probably the least aggressive profile of any I've ever read on here, but I get probably two or three really nasty messages a week.

I don't engage with them, just report, block, delete - mainly because I can't be arsed and I don't care enough. But I do NOT court them, encourage them or deserve them, even though I'm married which is what appears to be behind most of them.

I don't agree with replying with a worse message, but it's not right to suggests people deserve it or bring it on themselves.

I have been here over 7 years and not one letter like that .... only nasty stuff I got was on cam and was from ladies not on this site on the old one I was on ....... Never here and if I had a worry I would report or chat to mod .. its why I love fab as my old site never had mods was a free for all .

People just want to go out of their ways to be dick because they probably dont have anything else yo do with their lifes. I usually point this out to them which usually gets me sworn at and then blocked. The truth hurts. Also laughing at them hits a nerve to. I don't actually need to swear at them at all.

And im i looking for confrontation?! No but i am direct and i don't apologise for it at all. Its also a method to filter mailers.

Why am i not meeting atm? Because i have no time right now and my child is at home. Didnt realise it was an offense.

Only ever had one abusive message in 8 years and that was via a forum thread where the person was sending abuse to everyone.

I often wonder what people consider abusive.

To be honest op you font come across as a strong woman but someone who seeks justification in their actions. I find strong women don't feel the need to tell everyone their strong women, they would just report, move on and not start threads about messages.

I often wonder that too. I've never had what I would call abusive messages. I put up a social meet request thingy once and turned two men down and then I became old and fat, a time waster, a tease, and a fake with stolen pictures.

But once I refuse to meet, the the same sad lonely losers turn nasty. They send an abusive message and then block me before I get a chance to give them a piece of my mind
