Going to be freezing? Good one BBC.

It's already there, our street is now a ice rink.

East Sussex

Some people are. I see motorists driving really stupidly given the conditions and people walking about in shorts and tee shirts, I think to myself "these people have not seen the weather forecast"

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

It's Britain! We like a weather story and all the drama of people being stupid and ignoring the weather conditions.

But you are forgetting all the immigrants from warmer climates who are here now the BBC is just worried about them as most wont have seen snow and might panic

".. What get your goat about people stating the obvious?"

When they report on someone's untimely demise and they say " the family are said to be devastated "

Were a small island surrounded by seas and a very big ocean to our left, this means we have no set climate patterns.

Last year didn't even see three days of frost in much of the country, the year before it was chilly, the year before that it was minus 15 in January and the year before that it snowed like buggery in November.... Or to put it another way our weather is a bit of a guessing game.
