Apparently not for the first time.

This is what I thought when I was in hospital the nurses and doctors barely had time to attend to my medical needs let alone my sexual ones

I agree. The last thing on a patients mind is sexual gratification and has been said already it's career suicide for the nurse.

A few years ago I had a urethral blockage removed and needed a nurse to check me out because it was bleeding a bit. In normal circumstances I would've had a hardon in a second when she picked up my cock in her gloved hand to check it out (In a true professional medical way I hasten to add.) But far from it. Honestly in a job where your dealing with men's private parts its a regular occurrence, most men get very embarrassed when it happens, I've even seen men get a hard on when male nurses touch them, but they have seen it all before and just carry on without comment or trying to get them off

As a rule if they are well enough to finger a nurse while having a wank they would be in the shower plus I can 100% assure you nurses do not give bed baths they are far to busy for that carers do that job and not on a night shift

I work with someone that used to be a carer and he looked after a couple who both had disabilities and he would get them into position to have sex, then leave then

He would then clean them both up

When i was younger before i was married the best place for a good night out was the LONDON HOSPITAL TAVERN next door to London Hospital, it was packed full of student nurses at weekends who were quite a naughty bunch.

Sad to say that nurse needs sacking there are certain acts in place to prevent these things if she's done it to him what's to say she's not taking advantage of handicapped patients etc

I dislocated my knee when I was 19 and was in hospital for a while, 2nd day in and a nurse gave me a bed bath and I embarrassingly got a hard on luckily was wearing boxers but still very noticeable, I was sooo embarrassed but the nurse just carried on and remained totally professional.....gutted

HCA's don't do all the personal care, also the HCA may have been busy elsewhere.

A pt may have a bed bath at any point if it's needed or convienant for both pt and staff.

However any member of staff actually behaving like that is extremely unlikely and sounds like the OP has been told a story that the teller knew would turn him on. It obviously worked too.

Ok, she's just very unusual among her profession I guess

And breaking all the requirements of the NMC to be registered as a nurse. Take a look at the NMC website at the hearings and proceedings section. Nurses and midwives get stricken from the register for far less and rightly so. When people are ill or injured they need to be able to trust their carers, that they won't be aken advantage of or abused in any way.

. On what basis do you conclude that nurses are dull? Acting in a professional manner hardly makes you a dull individual, especially if you have made the time and effort to obtain these qualifications .

dull? First for everything, I guess. As for wanking off, a patient? Yeah this is common place at the beginning and end of every shift. It's slipped in, in and between, meds, and IV rounds.God dam it! NHS overworked and underpaid we should get paid for these extra enhancements!!

I remember when Hospital portering and the nurse helping me to transport this patient to xray when The stoma bag leaked my stomach must Have turned 3 times but somehow I managed to prevent being sick from This experience I was only 19 even If I was older that would have made no Difference, one of the many things I Admire about people who can deal with The health care of patients and was Always busy even then in the late 70,s.

I had two operations on my nose when I was in my twenties. The nurses had more time to spend with patients then and it was very discreet behind the bedscreens.

My first Op was on the NHS and the second was private. In the private hospital it was rife. I suppose you get what you pay for.

Not a great deal different from the doctors who get struck off for performing breast exams for ingrowing toenails. Very rare but does happen.

I guess I'm sexist though, as I'd assume a female nurse wouldn't be so stupid as to risk her entire career in such a way.

I personally would never jeopardise my career or breach code of conduct and abuse my power of trust in this way in any situation, neither would my colleagues (so I believe ). However, as with all professions and walks of life there are those that do or would take advantage of or disrespect their position. Fortunately I have neither heard about nor witnessed such goings on thus far. That being said although unlikely it is still plausible. It isn't acceptable though no matter how attractive the prospect. Chance would be a fine thing to have the time to even take breaks let alone do anything else !

When I split my head open and my face was covered in blood, not to mentions the 4inch slice on my head..
