This has wound me up today...

The price of petrol has been coming down steadily, so my local bus company has announced price rises for the new year. They are citing "operational costs"

Repairs. Wages, insurance. Ground rent for the offices/bus depot. Loads of different things that could be going up not just petrol

Same as here..... It's already costing over 26 quid a week and the service is dreadful.

Things are so bad that I'm starting driving lessons in the new year, the costs of running a small car are comparable
