Just a quick one. I am curious as to whether meeting anyone off here can lead to a relationships??

I have always wondered if it is possible to be with someone long term who you meet on here given the circumstances you met?

Just as likely as the queue at the bus stop, and possibly easier as you have one door open already.

It's not the most frequent, but I think someone from here got married yesterday or maybe it was today so it does happen!

I know there a pros and cons and it is like everything else.

I am weighing up if you meet someone on here you are right you do share the same kinks so sexually you are on the same wave length all ready.

The negative is meeting on here you will always have a nag in the back of your head that this is not the conventional way to meet someone

What's conventional?

Ask every married couple how they met and you'll be told hundreds of different tales.

If you go looking you may well end up disappointed, frustrated and disillusioned.

Don't go looking and the one for you may well fall into your lap when you least expect it.

Back in 2011 I met a guy off here which was only supposed to be a one off as he lived up north in England. For 14 months we would visit each other for full weekends and bank holidays him coming here more than me up there. He eventually said he would move here but I realised I didn't really like him so we parted. Still speak to him now and then on Facebook when he messages me.

Do you mean can you have a relationship with someone you fuck and don't know anything much about? Yeah why not. It's risky coz they are virtual strangers but can work out.

I've had 5 relationship my whole life, all of them started off as just sex. I also don't believe relationships are for life though and live in the present and don't plan for the future, ever. I get by and it works well for me.

I dont see why it would be any different meeting here to meeting anywhere else....if you meet someone, they blow your mind and you theirs what's the problem? Re: the trust thing, you can never fully know what anyone gets up to while your not around, if you have a suspicious nature it's going to show through regardless of where you met ....I really

dont see why here is seen as a place not to meet and fall for someone.

I have a very special friend that I met on here. We keep our own relationship very much off fab. We spend most weekends together. We go out for meals, go to the theatre, spend time in her caravan. I know her family (her dad, brother and daughter). She knows my sister and we have a few other vanilla friends in common etc.

We also keep our own profiles on here and swing entirely separately though we often discuss our meets (and much chuckling is had too).

Apparently we shall marry when she hits 50 (7 years grace then).

I also introduced a previous fb (who my friend also knew) to her now husband. They married in August 2013 and are still together as a couple and on here. So yes...it happens. But please DONT use fab as a dating site.

Singles hooking up with singles as a fully fledged cpls is all good whilst sex levels are the same and interest levels for swinging are the same.

However once a swinger etc comes into the equation and doesnt go hand in hand when the other expects exclusivity or the basics of a normal relationship.

The focus in swing relationships started inside swinging is very different to those started outside of it.

That is not to say it's impossible.

i think it is something that can and does happen on here... but i think the mistake some people go in with from the outset is actively seeking it....

if it happens it happens.... the spark you get from meeting..... sometimes seeking it from the outset can reek of desperation...
