I wouldn't go that far but if I had no face pics on my profile I'd attach one if I made first contact as I think its only polite and no time is wasted if I'm not their type.

It'd have to be a very good message. If they said something along the lines of "I'm free tonight, wanna meet?", they're definitely not worth considering.

Not at all. I've met guys who didn't send a pic with first message. I enjoyed the conversation and i liked the look of them when i did see their pic.

Not necessarily, but when you have loads of messages it is easier to just delete those messages and get to the ones who do have pics. I prioritise deleting messages before i start conversations when i first get on here.

Agreed. I do like to see one relatively early on, but it doesn't matter to me if it's in the first message or not.

I don't usually send a face pic with my first message to profiles who request one and yes I do read profiles what's the point in sending one when I know I am not going to get one back that's why I stopped playing FPF. It makes me feel like I am being interviewed I usually look out for things as a starting point and send a message if I don't get a reply delete and move on

no I don't think he could be a perfect match. If he's seen my face picture, read my profile where it asks ( not demands) a face picture but chooses to ignore it and knows he won't get a reply how could he possible my be a perfect match?

I should have written

All men that are not prepared to send a face pic on first message are completely undesirable

You feel that absolutely none of the men that have read your profile and decided not to message based upon your request would be a potential compatible meet ?

I generally don't message profiles that has "no pic no reply " however I would consider myself foolish and closed minded if I maintained that as a fixed rule without taking into consideration other factors"
but so many men are prepared and do send a face picture why would you give one that doesn't a second thought

I tend not to reply if they don't send a pic, I just see it as a waste of time talking to someone and getting to know them only to get a pic later and find out I dont fancy they, I'd sooner swap face pics from the start and talk to people their is a chance I'm going to meet

Though I don't have any face pics, well in focus ones

, on my profile I always send one with a first message it just makes sense to me to do so, I wouldn't expect a guy to be interested in my enough to mail me back if he didn't know what I looked like, and I just expect the same in return, whoever mails first should send a face pic and if the person mailed likes they should send one back, that's just how I see it, its not a case of demand I just think its daft chatting and getting to know someone before you know you fancy them

Totally agree. Such an awkward moment if that happens after chatting. Its when people get upset because they're blocked as many don't want to be honest about not finding them attractive for fear of abuse. You wouldn't introduce yourself to someone in a bar with a bag on your head so I think its only polite to send a face pic with the first message.

I seldom send a first message that hasn't my mug shot attached I find it stops most communication there after, leaves me more time to faff around the forums..

Yes they say that. And they usually don't attach a pic. I have no face pics on public display and still they send messages like this

Absolutely not but I think you will find many open minded people will walk into a number of bars without first knowing who is and might be there first

If you have a preference rule no pic no reply you are saying NOT ONE male who isn't prepared to pander to said preference could be a quality attractive meet

I'll say that again NOT ONE

Now I'm sure if you are not overly fussy there are a multitude of men that do send a pic FIRST MESSAGE to choose from, however from listening to forum comments 99 percent of these wonder boys cannot even craft their own profile

Surely for the open minded decerning lady , an arbitrary filter as we are describing would be counter productive in her quest for a gent who can tick her boxes

There have been a multitude of threads regarding, pic steeling and stalking . It is prudent for some if not most to be cautious with online material

some of the least desirable men , married cheating men do want to hide, however some of the more cautious considered and reasoned men do too

Just as a note for those above who say " no not one person who would not send face pic first message is possibly worthy of meeting "

You are of course saying this directly about me, and I know at least one above did and would have met after I sent a face pic , let's say message 5

I will re iterate I'm refering to FIRST message , not blind date or days of chat

Sadly ladies above you may not realise there are men and boys pic fishing under false profiles , and I'd suggest any male who is careful possesses a positive trait ?

I know you all WANT to see everything laid out , we all WANT however in Internet land I'd SUGGEST that is not a practical or reasonable expectation , all you will find are those men who are not bothered , I think declaring all men that are bothered are unworthy a narrow minded perpective

One of which I fully accept is a personal preference but one I might suggest is more telling and a more precice filter for me, than the pretty much none decerning filter of "not interested if you won't sent face pic first message"

Maybe I have misread the forums and there actually is a glut of exceptionally desirable men then the blunt filter is plausible,
