I haven't bought anything yet online or gone to the shops. I'm off to get a coffee maker today though.

I used to go at 5am to the first day of the sales, sod that for a lark now though!

What bargains have you got already or what have you got your eye on, if the price is right ?

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I have booked an hotel room for work and an apartment in Belfast for my trip to the Giant's Causeway next month. I'm just waiting for some flight bargains now.

Me too. I haven't told the ex that bit is also on my to do list but he generally likes a bit of history so it should be OK, especially if the tea room is open and I buy him a cream tea.

I've bought several polishing compounds and a full set of silicone hoses for my car.

I was planning on buying a Tassimo machine in the sales but my GF bought me one for Christmas so I shall be hunting down various flavoured discs instead.

I'm still looking for a coffee machine. Found 1, it's £90 from £120. Can't decide whether to buy it or not.

But been working so haven't actually had chance to go and physically visit the sales.

you'll get one cheap than that. I had one reduced from £140 to £42 before Xmas.

A lot of supermarkets have been selling them half price too

I wouldnt go to the sales on Boxing Day, I find it quite sad that Christmas is down to one day now and everyone cant wait to get out and buy even more stuff, it is sheer greed that drives us.

Its nice to stay at home, read, go for a walk, eat, watch TV, go on the computer, that kind of thing. I love shopping and bargains but I dont want to do it at this time. Back in the day when I was a child, the sales didnt start until New Years Day, I wish it was like that now

The Costa Coffee Caramel Latte and the Oreo Hot Chocolate are good.

We had a little walk out yesterday and I took a few snaps of what looked like a 100m que of sheeple waiting to be let in to a well known naff clothes shop...it was open but full.

It has a Costa so we just walked straight in after asking the 'security'... Had a drink then a quick look at what looked like a bad jumble sale

madness, and quite a sad reflection on society I think.

On the plus side I bought a 93" flat screen TV for £2.50... Couldn't get it in the house unfortunately. £2.50 wasted! Damn they get me every time those marketeers.....mwah

I bought three Thornton's reindeer for the girls across the road. They were £5 each on Christmas Eve and now they are £1.25.
