According to QI, you have till 1st Feb. According to tradition, you have till 6th Jan.

Anyone going to take them down tomorrow?

My daughter will probably do it soon. Get the flat back to normal before she goes back to work

New years day for us. The room always looks so much bigger when it first comes down.

Depends when it starts shedding needles at an alarming rate

The 'naked' look doesn't do anything for me...well not when it comes to Christmas trees anyway

I miss all the lights though

Same. Just never got the time then Xmas Eve realised I'd forgot all about it. Not to worry tho, I'll be more organised next year

If I start planning now there will be half a chance next year , no promises though

I am really enjoying spending the evening watching TV, just sitting in the twinkling lights of the tree and other decorations and the light of the fire. It'll get taken down on 6th Jan. Going to have to think about using candlelight after that because I'll miss the cosiness of the Christmas lights and the fire

Mine will come down New Years Eve. An old aunt used to believe it was bad luck to have them up twice in the same year.

Couldn't be arsed this year! It would have got in the way during the NYE party anyway.
