Hate having to use condoms but would rather be safe

They keep making me dry and sore and can't go as long as I would like to........using extra lube isn't helping either

Wonder if I'm allergic to rubber

Can anyone help??

Try latex free? Also I think someone once mentioned an allergy to the spermicide they put on some condoms. x

Try Skyn condoms i had a similar problem and feel much better using them now, my gum clinic gave me two bottles of durex sensilube which instead of being sticky is really natural feeling as its meant to imitate your natural wetness x

Most guys in clubs have their own condoms as they obviously know their sizes so I can't very well buy a load of mixed sizes and hand them out every time we want fun

I have a problem with the spermicide Nonynoxyl 9 that is on the extra safe condoms, it sets off my eczema (yes, internally! ). It's fairly common to have some form of skin irritation triggered by it so check if your condoms have a spermicide on.

You can also try silicone lubes like ID or Astroglide or try something like Sylk personal lube.

If it's the male half (I'm trying to remember your opening post details) then try putting a couple of drops of lubricant into the condom before you put it on.

I use TLC made by Pasante in grey sachets, a man recommended them to me at the GUM clinic, gave me free samples, they are for sensitive skin when I used to use KY jelly it would sting when I put it on and it was more sticky.

That's what I do. I'm allergic to latex, and no way would I make myself sore and ruin my good time just because someone else had brought their own and I was too embarrassed to tell them to use mine. Prefer mine anyway as at least I know they are in date etc

Tbh most standard condoms fit most guys, its only if they are vvwe would they need xl and remember if you have to use specific condoms then they use yours or dont play!

Try the sensilube i said about before, its more like water and doesnt irritate at all or leave a stickyness

I'm not vwe and it wasn't until I discovered 'large' condoms (and that took me feeling particularly egotistical) that I realised that condoms were not supposed to hurt.

Same here. I'm not massive. Just a bit bigger than average. Large actually makes it all the way down and doesn't feel like I'm getting crushed.
