The International Space Station will be flying over the UK at 1722 & 1858 tonight, if the sky is clear it will be visible. Why not take the kids outside & show them Santa flying over? Should be visible in the SW sky for several minutes.

You could just "happen" to be outside, look for it, then point it out?

This is what we will do. Gonna be "putting reindeer food out" at that time I think.

Could do but we live in a top flat so it's not often we happen to be outside in the dark unless we are actually off out or coming home. Hmmmm.. Maybe I'll get him to help me take the rubbish out. Hahahha..

If you don't see it then show him the Santa Tracker on your laptop.

If it's clear you wont miss it. It's a very bright pass tonight, coming from the west. Looks like an incredibly bright star moving at speed across the Sky.. It's perfect timing

It's the International Space Station. As long as skies are clear, it will be visible to all of the UK tonight

So the ISS tracker app I've got on my phone, the ISS tracker website, numerous news feeds etc are all wrong are they?

The ironic thing is that it is not visible on 29th. 28th is the last time until Feb #ISS

According to the tracker 45• above horizon. It was really obvious. I was thinking it would look like a star and go so fast I wouldn't see it, my dad spotted it coming over the roof of my house x
