I'm usually ok with flat pack furniture, but bought a christmas present gift box that came in flat pack form the other day. The instructions were useless, it was only folding cardboard but took me ages to work it out, should've said on the packet "Need a masters degree in origami to erect this box" lol.

I'm pretty damn good at diy and put all my flat pack stuff together. Even managed a couple of things alone that said 2man assembly.

I know I shouldn't laugh, but I used to do this as a job. Going into offices assembling flat pack furniture, at least you got instructions. We were lucky if we got a picture.

Just take a deep breath and go back to it in 5 mins times.

the good lands, the bad lands, the any where you may want me lands

The solution to your dilemma is to purchase delivery and erection at the check out. The handy hunks from Ikea descend upon you like fantasy fairies, equipped with bonding solution, power tools and before you even have time to stick the kettle on, or unbuckle their denims, the flatpack is built and all that is left is for you to deal with their semi erect flat pack!

I do enjoy assembling flat pack furniture. That is, if there are no parts missing which happens sometimes.

I started life as a carpenter and joiner and the number of foreigners I got to make sense of a novice throwing a grenade into a MFI flat box paid for many a luxury!
