"Thats quite something. i think you have just described my life. even down to a temporary lapse from reality a while back when it all got a bit much. Dont know is the answer to your main question. but it is interesting to see it in writing so clearly and know im not the only one who has gone through the same stages. Good luck and best wishes with it. " Really? That's strange isn't it.... My friend said the same when I was telling her, wonder if its an age thing Hope your OK xx

"It might be age, hormones and a change from a stress that you could manage to a strain that you can't. Some find being busy all the time relaxing - they strive on it all. For others it's too much. Ask either to flip into the other mode and they will struggle. Work out what your stress triggers are, how often it happens, whether it is linked to anything you have been eating, the time of your cycle or disturbed sleep. Try practicing mindfulness and look at yoga. " Lol no reasons... I cried the other day when I had to go Xmas shopping Maybe I should try yoga, thank you x

"I've always been the same. I just plod on regardless of what's going on around me. I don't do drama or stress really. Now and then I have a meltdown and yell at anyone and anything then its back to plodding on. I have always seen little point in worrying about stuff. If you can do something about it then do it, otherwise it's out of your control so no amount of worrying will change a thing." That great, I wish I could be like that xx

"Combination of exercise and chill out. I go for a run with my 'stressed out' playlist, then either read or watch something I really enjoy that I've seen oodles of times. Walk in the country and just be, no music, no phone surfing, just me,the dog and nature. Bake, as the recipes require concentration and the process soothes me. Gardening. Because you get to get grubby! Run around the park with the kids, reminds me to be present in the moment and not carry it with me." I have a chilled out life in general, as I stated, get abroad once a month, great friend and family, get to the gym everyday.... But still, get a speeding ticket and I turn into a jibbering wreck that won't even fill in the forms and hope it'll just disappear!! lol

When that happens to me it's a sign that my depression is on the rise. The longer you leave it the worse it gets and then it becomes stressful. Try making a little list and setting yourself an achievable target. A little bit every day. It doesn't always work for me but sometimes it does.

" Stopped taking my anti depressants in may coz of the excessive weight gain, against doctors orders. I am aware that it may be that but with the amount of exercise I'm getting I do feel the natural endorphins are far better than the medication, I genuinely do feel happier. Just the fecking 2 stone I have to shed, that won't shift is driving me mad!!

Keep an eye on yourself if the tears are coming when you have to do things as the natural endorphins may not be enough during the dark months.

"I deal with it with a hard gym workout and finish of with the treadmill, you get in such a high state of mind after that you have secured the status to be untouchable and all negative thoughts and stress erases " I need to workout more to relax. I never find the time. But when I do it works. Lack of sleep kills me too.

Perhaps its a part of getting older and changing responsibilities, sometimes it doesnt seem logical. Hope you work it out in a positive way, some of the advice being given seems quite logical and sound
