What does that actually mean? I've just thought it after shivering there but don't know.

I use that saying when I shiver too so I've just googled it: derives from an earlier folk legend that a sudden cold sensation was caused by someone walking over the place that one's grave was eventually going to be.

Oh interesting

I've always said I want to be cremated.

At least now I know. Thankyou.

You're welcome. I want to be cremated too but I assume the saying came into being long before cremation became popular. I have a bit of a fascination with old Welsh sayings and this is one that I've heard and use.
