Jamie Gilroy and his family today.....Jamie is the founder of the wickerman festival and a complete and utter character loved by many.

He was found yesterday with what is believed to be a gunshot wound to the head at his farm and is currently fighting away in hospital.

He's a tough ol' stick is Jamie so if anyone can get past this...he will.

No foul play is suspected.....

Thats very sad to hear. I know nothing of him but have heard of that festival.

Its a small thing in perspective but imagine having your Christmas if not rest of your life turned upside down like this.

He's a good guy, landowner with the heart of a hippy....ya see him wandering about with his t on and no shoes lol...always invites us up to the big house during the wickerman for breakfast and a chat...

Just hope the ramifications of this are as shallow as can be.....

Not good at all.....I figure it was an accident as I know he shoots a little up there for the pot so he's no stranger to being about guns...there's no foul play suspected by the police up to now either so I'm assuming it was an accident....either way, hope the man's ok....
