Just watching the news about 8 children aged 18months -15 years old found stabbed to death in a house in Cairns. How tragic at any time, but especially at this time of year.

Words can't help, but my thoughts are with their loved ones and friends.

A lady in her 30's was taken away seriously injured and they're not looking for anyone else. It's just sad.

Was having trouble sleeping so got up about four o'clock. News was breaking then. Police guy was saying the woman was "helping with enquiries" though not under arrest.

Another horrific news story. Seems to be one after another, every day, currently. Siege story, Taliban and now this

Yes it does seem that way.

How very sad. It says something when I no longer feel shocked by such monstrous events. They are pretty much a daily occurrence. Instead I'm more shocked when I hear of acts of genuine human kindness and compassion

This is so so sad and what a sad week in our world all the killings . I live in my little bubble here and if not for reading it on fab or hearing the news I don't hear things .. maybe it the way I can cope as it all messes with my head .. working out why and how it can be stopped . Peace and love to our world and if theres a God and an afterlife I hope its a place of joy for all them poor souls.
