Little bit of a rant.

The Isle of Man is a real place not somewhere funny to put as your location etc.

come and visit though you will have a great time

Don't get me started on the Isle of Man.

I have been there three times, once with the Sea Cadets back in 87 sailing from Liverpool, this started my love affair with the place, after sailing around the island and stopping at various ports.

Second was a cycle racing weekend, mainly round Douglas. A brilliant place.

The third time was I 99, for the TT. That visit was the best out of the three visits. Since then I have never had the pleasure to get back there, despite trying.

I used to come across 3 times a year as a child falling away to just once a year to visit family. Not been now since I was 21.

I've promised I'll take my wife someday soon.

I love the island. It's in my blood.
