Sort of. Life's taken over and it's made it near impossible to plan meets in advance, so now I'm being the type of annoying person I hate and sending texts like "hey, I'm in your area tonight and free" to friends. The desire's still there though.

I'm happy to say I've got mine back after about 18 months. I had a few meets in the meantime but things were said after one particular meet that made me feel used and totally crap about myself so I left

I don't meet many or often anyway but I'm enjoying my time back this time

Before i started participating in the forums i was close to giving up on the site. Chatting on here has found me with new friendsvfrom across the country, some even wanting to meet me.

My overall meet rate hasn't changed but i feel in some way I am still participating.

I think it's been a long time since I had a real buzz about this sort of thing. I have been meeting for 3.5 years but the real excitement wore off after about 6 months. Don't get me wrong I still enjoy the odd meet but the novelty most definitely wore off.

I'm not sure I ever had a buzz from my Fab experience. I don't meet as often now as work comes first, my priorities have changed and when I meet I want more of a guaranteed "product". It's still my sex connection though.

Life on Fab will always be a rollercoaster - ups and downs, twists and turns, the occasional thrill, adrenaline rushes - combined with the dull, slow bits inbetween.

As it should be.

It's a part of life. Not the be all and end all. If it becomes too much of a priority it will always disappoint.

Take it for what it is - the chance for social interaction (virtually or physically) on a more 'adult' level and something that's fun. If the fun element stops that's when it's good to slow down, step back and have a breather.

There are far more important things in life than Fab.

I enjoyed this place more back in 2011 when I was first on here but that was before I was 30! The last couple of years my intentions are more on finding a relationship than a one off.

The thrill of getting ready for a meet has been replaced with wanting to have a hot chocolate and a smooch on the sofa with a permanent guy!

We don't rely on fab at all, we don't really meet that often anyway as real life is very busy, we probably only use fab for socials and the forums at the moment.

So can't say that it has or that it hasn't lost it's buzz.

Yeah I'm a bit like this at the moment anyway. I just dont get Christmassy and the whole month of December makes me feel a little empty.. I could quite happily go to sleep now and wake up in 2015.

I think in winter most of us hibernate more. I go through phases here, sometimes I love it and sometimes I really don't. When I don't, I will either hide my profile or have deleted my profile before to have a complete break. I love the forums though and they draw me back every time.

For sure, my partner and I deleted out joint profile a month ago as we couldn't find the time to be on fab and work and have a life and since then she said she hasn't missed it. We will still be going to clubs though it all seems so much easier.

I feel a bit sad reading some of these posts, we have found fab to be fun, hard work at times but ultimately the more effort you put in the better the rewards. We are 3 years into our swinging experience & its been a roller coaster of ups and downs but ultimately a positive addition to our relationship. I now understand about pushing boundaries and also setting limits. I get it that a single your wants & needs will change as so will a couple,I wish everyone on here finds happiness in whatever way they want xx

I've been like that all the time I've been here...sometimes I love it, sometimes it's a chore. Think taking a step back every now and then so I miss it helps me enjoy it more if that makes sense. Plus I have a couple of friends I can rely on whether I'm live or hidden on here

Yes the site has lost its shine for me. I do read the forums but I'm nowhere near as active as I once was.

We don't really get the time to enjoy the scene as we once did and I like to have things to look forward to. Work and general life has made this more difficult

We look forward to weekends when we are free to meet so always make arrangements and most of them either don't turn up or phone with a pathetic excuse but luckily I still like coming on here cos a lot of it is so comical and there is buger all on telly lately

I'm planning on leaving in the new year. Reassess what I want relationship wise. I've met some great people on here but the guys I really like always end up having a partner tucked away somewhere and the truely singles seem to be a bit odd.

Also I have very little free time and swinging (clubs ) appear to have taken it over

ive found sex has just gone way down in my list of priorotys and isnt that important in my life currently.

I put that energy into other areas.

I think this is why so many singles seem to lose the buzz. For me fab is only ever an enhancement so getting a meet isn't important. I have a family and a wonderful husband so i don't really need anything from fab. It's always been way down on my priorities. I _iew it as a luxury.

Ive been up in down myself recently. .

But did start to date again as like many of you wanted more.... I lasted six weeks. Lol... before I was looking for a meet.... I'm just finding it increasingly difficult to find the time to meet ...

I have kids so my time is restricted to when they are at school. .. of course it's around my work to.... I think one of the reasons I wanted to date and find that special someone that I can have around my kids. .. anyhow will start to date after exmas again. Find it can be a bit up and down the way I feel about it. Still meeting....have a few regular ladies I see....one in particular is a real good friend but don't really see that as anything to do with fab, although we did meet here. We keep our fab lives separate now....though we do show each other the stupid messages we get, especially her....there are a massive amount of nobs on here!

Over the three and a half years we have been on and off fab , we too have pondered over this question .

We would guess it would be a very high percentage and this in itself explains why such a low % of fab users come on the forums .

I have found that meeting at a club is far better, these pages are ok once you have met people but I think the chances of meeting because of the pages are slim. I have had a marvelous time at the spa and will continue to have success there, here- well time will tell.

veryone has good times and bad. I have left fab many times over the years as have had enough. Think one of the difficult things is for the genuine swingers to stand out. I remember another site that no longer exists and was really friendly but these days everyone seems to know about fab. As soon as they have no luck on social dating sites they join here lol

In the labyrinth you slowly make your way towards the center... then you suddenly take a detour and you're right out at the perimeter again... before suddenly finding yourself at the center. In terms of where we're at with Fab I'd say we're right out at that perimeter. I'd like to think that in the new year we'll finally be making our way into the center. But I've given up trying to predict when that's gonna happen. 2015 could easily slip by. But it's not really all that important is it? As long as we're in love and enjoying life... that's most important

Fab is so unreal and doesn't seem to work for a lot of people anyway. It strikes me that, when we do get going on things, we may not need it at all. Besides, between sex and love I'll choose love every time. Swinging is an extra, a bonus, I'm really looking forward to doing it, but I'm not gonna put any unnecessary pressure on our relationship.
