I just witnessed a fight in Iceland. Two women rowing over a gateaux.

Apparently Christmas will be ruined if there is no gateaux. There was a punch thrown, security called and tears shed.

Anyway, I am just wondering if any other folks have suffered from hysteria and what caused it?

Yes, have seen it over "Frozen" merchandise..Disney must be making a mint on the back of this film.

I do dispair of some people, especially at this time of year. Good will to all men (unless they're holding something I want, then I'll rip yer face off!).

And we never learn, if you buy too much food and waste it then surely you buy less next year?! Just a thought

really! the shops are only closed for one day, and if you have a corner shop or petrol station nearby not even that.

We did a normal shop two weeks ago, grabbed an extra joint for silly day and that's it.

people are still acting like the 70's when shops closed for three days and your family lived within walking distance.

I'm lucky as I don't have to do shopping for food over Christmas, just for presents. I will go to work xmas morning as normal and cook my guys their xmas dinner. Then on to my sisters and meet up with all the family. Will let overs fight in the food aisles lol.

You'd think the shops were closed for a fortnight and people are feeding the 5000 the amount of food I've seen in some trolleys.

I'm probably very cynical but my guess is that about half of it will be wasted and some will still be paying for this Christmas till this time next year.

lord love a duck! an occurance of good old 19th century female hysteria? in public by golly! must be to do with the retention in the abdomen of female semen. i should recomend that they see their physician quick smart and get a treatment of water massage for the condition, society can't risk an epidemic of female hysteria at this time of year. women .... know your limits!
