love both my kids but my son now lives abroad and i know i am going to have an indescribable feeling when i see him and have one of his amazing hugs - hes home for xmas not seen him for months

I walked past the canal a few days ago, and stopped to watch a swan do their flappy chasing thing after a duck.

Made me smile, cause we are not the only things that have bad days with someone on your ass sometimes

That's made me remember last weekend driving back from Worcester. There were 8 swans in a field on one side of the road. I point them out to my passengers. Driving further I see more white objects in a field. Say to my passengers - is that a field of swans all excitedly. Felt a right clown when they point out it's actually a flock of sheep! We were all crying with laughter.

Almost as funny as watching them trying to land on a frozen pond. Not dignified. I could swear they are looking round for people videoing them and laughing. I bet they blush under those feathers.
