The recipients might not think so but I like my handmade blankets that I've given as gifts as I know how much time and effort has been put into them.

I've got one to give my nan for Xmas as she's just had her hip replaced yesterday so she will be taking it easy thought it would be nice to heir her warm. It's bloody awesome if I do say so myself! Took flippin ages to do as well! X

Susie the walking doll, which I bought for my sister when she was about 5yo. Although she sadly passed away aged 27 the doll has been played with by all the family children including her daughter and now her granddaughter too.

Mum just bought 'Susie' a new outfit ready for any more Great Grandchildren.

I gave my ex a son on 20th Dec 11 years ago. He'd longed for a son for many years - well before he met me - and he still adores that present now! We both do. Xxx

I once commissioned a picture for my ex's 40th.

We were ex's at the time as well, but the picture was a drawing of our beloved pet ratties we had recently lost

I gave my last tenner to a very ill looking man who was sitting on the floor outside London Bridge station. He looked shocked. I don't care if he bought drink with it,better to be a d*unk street rat and not feel the cold. If I'd had my Adidas coat on he would have gotten that too,I think he would have looked silly in my wool ladies coat

How can anyone say what the best gift they have given is?

Surely whether a gift is good or not depends on the opinion of the person receiving it.

I made my parents a big photo frame full of photos of my grandparents who have passed away.

A frame each probably 2ft by 2ft think it was two Christmases ago, first time I've seen my dads eyes fill with tears in a long long time.

Also last Mother's Day I had a ring made for my mom with my brothers, my foster sisters and my own birthstones in.

I like to try give gifts that have a lot of meaning to them.
