Some people do the searching themselves in order to cut down on messages. I did when I first re-joined. Made life a lot easier.

You have blocked them from sending you a message or wink, nothing more, your public is on public display for all on the site to see.

it may even be seen by people who are not on the site if you haven't set your filters.

Spend some time reading FAQ and all the bits for account and all it's settings, it may help.

Have you wrote any veris for other people? Sometimes people can check profiles from veris to see the type of peson that person meets? Nothing sinister in it?

I like to chat in my local rooms (SW and Wales). Sometimes I'll look at a profile of a person chatting in the room. I don't neccessarily want to meet them, just interested in who they are.
