I've just ordered a new one today with some of my birthday money

It's a big faced rose gold one and it was on offer so I'm happy.

I have a nice gold dress watch that was given to me after someone close died. I do wear it on special occasions but I decided to treat myself to a more practical one

I have a big chunky rose gold Michael Kors one that I bought as a present to myself a few years back to celebrate an achievement. I can't stand not having a watch on, it really stresses me out not knowing the time, so I wear one all day every day.

That's what I've got. A pink one. It's very interesting to see how many calories are being burnt off! Especially on a Friday when I do an hour piloxing then 40 min pump back to back

W has often said he would buy me a watch as he really likes them - but i just wouldnt wear one - i sometimes think a bangle type i would to go out in but then it would be in its box so much it would be a waste

Was choosing between a big chunky Michael kors, a gorgeous white tag heuer or go classic with a Rolex

I settled on a Louis Vuitton bag in the end somehow.

It's our first Christmas in our own home so wanted something nice to surprise her with

I like a medium size face (Ediface) but the watch must be heavy, mine weighs a ton. Never really bothered about them before but I do like a nice watch as I get older. Definitely an investment.

Not for a while. Haven't bought one this year.

The last watch I bought was a 1970's Ricoh Automatic. Ricoh haven't made watches for a while now, and when they did they mainly sold them in Asia. They tended to be quite art deco style.

I've never seen anyone with one when I've been wearing mine

I've got a Timex with a light up face. Cheap, easy to read and I can read the face when I'm camping and I've got no idea what time it is when I need to go to the loo. I've been bereft since I caught it on my desk and the strap pinged off. I was really pleased my husband fixed it today.

Always worn a watch, to tell the time but also as jewellery. If I could afford a fancy watch I would go for it. Only leather straps though. One day I asked a colleague for the time and he took out his phone, duh I could have done that.

I'm not really that interested in watches, I never drool over expensive watches in jewellers windows, like I do diamonds.

I do have one I wear to work, a rose gold fossil watch that cost £140. I wouldn't spend any more than that really.

I've got a tag I wear when going out and are getting dressed up. I also have a couple of different g shocks and a smart watch that I wear the rest of the time. They are just accessories to me if I want the time I normally check my phone. I've got 9 watches in total but I get away with it because juicy has way more pairs of shoes than that.

I've got an omega plant ocean for day to day, an aqua terra for smart dress, an old Rolex submariner which is more of a collector piece ( an inheritance and I prefer my plant ocean) and I've got a 5.11 field ops watch for when I'm doing dirtier work where my decent ones could take a knock..

I don't wear one anymore, a few months ago I had a bit of a skin irritation underneath my watch strap so I stopped wearing it and just haven't bothered with one since, having said that, I never have gone for expensive watches

Have a few from high end to functional I just like watches to be honest. Don't wear them to show off as I would be terrified of getting it nicked. Have inherited a couple and keep them safe. They are normally quite a steady investment for some of the rarer pieces.

Omega Seamaster Chrono original Bond Watch to mark 40th anniversary og the Bond movies (Xmas pressie to me from her in 2002) apart from 5 weeks when it was away been serviced worn every day.

She has an 1960's 9 ct gold Omega ladies dress watch her xmas pressie from me in 2002 an Omega Seamaster ladies her b/day pressie from me in 03 and an addidas ladies she wears for work and when the seamaster is away been serviced.

I would love a Cartier dress watch too (him)

Fashion statement and naturally functional. I do suspect that the kids of today will not have the same affinity to watches. None of my kids want watches of any description as they don't see the point of them.
