Hereabouts

My sister's friend is 16. She went to a party and got d*unk. My sister wasn't at this party but met her friend on the walk home. She lives 2 minutes away, but my sister brought her back here because she thinks she is too d*unk to go home. She's now passed out in my downstairs loo. Do I send her home? Or let her stay the night?

Personally, I'd put her to bed...if I had a phone number, I'd ring her folks and let them know she's staying the night but without mentioning shes pissed

Call her parents and let them know where she is for a start so they're not worrying. Let them decide if she sleeps it off or they want her home.

Ring her parents and tell them she's not well so you've offered her a bed at yours tonight

Don't send her home as her parents maybe really against her drinking

Give her a pep talk when she's sober about easing up on the alcohol

Wish I knew then what I know now

Getting that pissed is so not worth it

Give her a couple of hours rest and plenty of water then try asking her to phone her parents

Does she have a purse on her ? She might have her number in there

Ask your sister to ring her phone then u will maybe locate it that way

Problem solved. She's asleep on her side with a bucket and a towel. Alarm set for 2am so she can at least sober up a bit before going home. My alarm is also set for 2am so I can wake her up and send her home!

I swear I never got that d*unk. Aactually I probably got more d*unk, but I had the sense to have two back up plans!

I'd demand your sister told you where she lived and frog march her home. Its not your responsibility if something happens to her.

Without being there... I'm just concerned. Is she responsive at all? She is breathing right? I know I may be being OTT but it's better safe than sorry.

Hopefully at 2am she'll get up and make her own way home, although you may want to accompany her to make sure she's ok... a good plan A

If not, however, you should definitely get in touch with the parents somehow.. they may wish to come out and get her seeing as they don't know you. I wouldn't try covering for her, just be transparent and helpful imo

If your sister won't help you contacting the parents, I personally would call the police...

In this day and age if the slightest thing goes wrong you will get the blame. If the parents call the police worried about her, you will get the blame, etc etc....

She's responsive and feeling embarrassed. I'm giving her time to sober up and fix her face. Shes had water and a sausage roll. She's fine and will be going home in a couple of hours. I was going to wake my mum and tell her to call her parents but because she's eating I'll just leave her with my sister now

this - as my daughter did the same with a mate of hers who kindly threw up all over the place - made my girl clean it up and she never brought home a d*unk mate again
