I have a big chair near my window and some very decent headphones. I can wind myself right down there!

If it's night time I like to relax with a book once my daughter is in bed but if it's day time and I have some free time to myself I find I'm chilled and relaxed when I'm with my horse or walking my dog up on the common

A good book. Curling up on the sofa with the cat and a decent movie or TV show. Listening to music on headphones whilst going for an amble. Or bimbling around in the kitchen listening to music very loudly. If it's been a really stressful day/week then the only cure is sitting at a piano or keyboard and playing the stress out. Sax relaxes me too but it's much louder and I am a considerate neighbour.

I relax alone with a stream shower. I am most content letting my daughter fall to sleep curled up next to me on one of te sofa's. Sounds strange but hearing her breath has she is sleeping is one of the greatest sounds I know

Sleep. I love sleeping. I work full time and am a single parent , so I really look forward to the weekends the boys are away so I can have an afternoon snooze on the sofa.

Daytimes and its raining bury myself in something in my workshop.

If its sunny I go out for a blast on the bike. Total commitment takes the troubles away.

At night in bed with a good book with a brew ...
