24 hours ain't bad, if I tried singing the same Christmas song over and over for 24 hours I'd get three cases of assault and battery!.

In a word no, for certain applications and to satisfy advertising standards they will be better, but in the whole they are just the same as everyone else as they all use the same basic chemistry.

Don't buy batteries on the high street if you use a lot, we use a website at work and pay about £20 for 100 procell (duracell industrial) batteries.

Central

Also consider rechargeable batteries as each battery has its power capacity rated and so is comparable to other brands.

I don't find Duracell better for stuff I've tried them in
