Yes! The reimagining worked so much better. The original was a vehicle for the producers religious beliefs but the newer one was so much grittier

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

I am a fan of 2000AD (Halo Jones in particular), Firefly, Babylon 5, Star Trek Next Generation, Arthur C Clarke, Isaac Asimov, and some other stuff. I personally believe that the Fifth Element is the best film ever made, and I am so much of a Tolkien geek I used to be able to write and speak some Elvish.

it did have, I bought the first season on VIDEOTAPE lol..midway through some of it became embarrassingly too soap like, the characters were very hollow(7of9 was probably the most complex of them all in fact(and HOT!).The political correctness was a little over the top too...something deep space 9 had managed in a way to get out of.

NERD ALERT: I remember two planets on either side of both series's quadrants having the same light fixtures on the ground...I was disgusted at the cheap prop usage!

Ronald D Moore wrote battlestar galactica because he wasn't allowed to write Voyager the way he wanted, studio ruined it, he wanted it realistic, bridge battle damaged with no repairs available in that quadrant etc.

How can it destroy your memories? They're still there in your mind forever. A new film won't change that.

Blake's 7 was good. Low budget and often filmed in a gravel quarry but the characters were interesting.

Sliders was good when the professor was in the show.

Stargate was a great movie, never got into the series except Stargate:Universe I liked that because of Robert Carlyle

Haven is a good current series, and Defiance is not too bad either

I'm a total geek with my steam punk office and gadgets for any kind of conversion audio/video etc.

I collect Marvel and Dark Horse as well as the odd DC etc, I have number onesbof Spiderman, Hulk, Judge Dredd among my comic collection.

I also collection Marvel, DC, Dark Horse on digital comic DVD discs e.g Spiderman 1-400, Hulk 1-400.

I have about 30 DVD's of digital comics containing thousands of comics and like these as I can read them on Windows/Apple/Android and not have Kim moan about the space of my collection lol.

I picked the collection of the old Hulk series on DVD recently as well as UFO which are going to fun to watch.

No but that's why they team up.

Black Panther, Ant Man, Quiksilver, Scarlet Witch, probably bucky as cap, plus some others.

This is the problem with marvel selling off the rights for the best superheroes. It leaves them in the hands of studios that aren't bothered how they handle the storylines etc and it leaves marvel with second and third rate fare, antman anyone?
