Make enquiries at the gym? I'm sure there are others that don't want to go to the gym alone

Joining the gym to begin with is the most logical place to start.

havent you got any real mates?

joining up with someone is good for that initial stage but dont rely on them too heavily

find ur feet soon as you can and do ur own thing

If I see people I know at the gym I end up standing nattering instead of working out, I do go wits a friend to piloxing and pump classes but you can't really talk through those. Someone asked me to come to the gym with me a while back and I said no!! Haha... Although on weights days it would be handy to have someone at the sa,e level as me do we could spot each other. X

Me too! My last gym buddy couldn't keep up with my squaring habits (every day twice a day)

yeah it's good to go with another person, some of those weights are heavy and it takes two of you to lift them
