What is the most interesting thing that you have found in a hotel room, that has been left by a previous guest?

My starters: American Express card (Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas), a bra draped over a floor lamp (Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong) and soup that had been heated in the in-room kettle (a hotel that I cannot bring myself to name in Birmingham).

I found a couple having sex, I had been given a duplicate door card for the wrong room! Embarrassment all around!

I've never found anything and if I did I'd wonder why the room hadn't been prepared properly for my stay

I do wonder if some people think hotels are somewhere to just make and leave a mess. They have your credit card details so can charge you.

The only thing left by a previous occupant is the lingering smell of cigarette smoke. Yuk!

Judging by some of the boasts I see on here yes, some people do enjoy leaving a mess in hotel rooms for someone else to clear up.

Our daughter used to wear two pairs of rubber gloves and shower until she nearly disappeared when she came home. "People" can be gross
