Not sure about the 99.9% figure, have seen plenty of profiles on here where the women keep it bushy.

There are lots and lots of au naturel women on here, with at least two in this thread (we tend to gang up on the hairy pussy ones, 'cos someone is sure to come along and use words like 'disgusting' and 'unhygienic') and, as ever, it's all down to preference.

What do you and the missus do with yours?

i never get why people think shaving is cleaner, I know i shave but that's through personal choice nothing to do with keeping clean, when yyou shave you still sweat it just dries back on your skin, so instead of licking a sweaty bush your licking it off the skin, how is it any cleaner

Yes but I asked you how you define clean.

There is a common misconception that urine, sweat and bacteria doesn't stick to skin...it does and a quick wash off will solve the problem shaved or hairy.

it's all about accepting other people for what they are.

It's quite easy some of us shave and some of us don't. No need to be rude or make up silly reasons why one preference is wrong. Both are acceptable.

If I shaved it wouldn't look nicer, it would look appalling! Shaving sets off my eczema so if I shaved I'd look diseased!

Cleanliness is about actually cleaning yourself, would people suggest that we should all shave our heads to be cleaner?

Just as I wash my hair and keep it trimmed I wash and maintain all the other parts of my body too.

Rightly or wrongly the predominant cultural norm is to banish all bodily odours..the ability to daily shower, afford deodorants, et al, are for the masses only a relatively recent.

Prior to this most people smelt in a way we now would consider offensive.

Pubic hair does secrete odours, it is meant to, those odours are designed to be naturally sexually attractive.

I don't have a problem with pubic hair, merely pointing out how perceptions are changed by social/economic cultural changes

When we first got involved in this whole thing I was quite surprised by the animosity towards women with pubic hair (I'm sure it exists towards men but A shaves so we've never experienced it)but I have never been refused by a gentleman on the grounds that I'm too hairy.

Well does your clean mean odourless?

Yes but I asked you how you define clean.

There is a common misconception that urine, sweat and bacteria doesn't stick to skin...it does and a quick wash off will solve the problem shaved or hairy.

Understood.

Pubic hair doesn't secrete odours though.

Agreed, but serves as a trap for odours

which brings me right back round to my original statement.

Round and round the mound of hair we go.

When will it stop?

Nobody knows!

"

it is an endless argument

"We both prefer shaved more nicer lookin more cleaner plus dont have to floss while im eating lol

You know that hair is actually our bodies way of keeping us clean, right?

That depends on how you define clean

How do you define it?

Traps odours, doesn't neutralise them. hence why many now, rightly or wrongly, would consider that not 'clean'.

but my original point was that skin also holds onto odours. I have smelled urine and sweat on many a hairless body

Didn't think I would be discussing pubic hair when I surfaced this morning, but that's Fab..lol

Hopefully you will agree that pubic hair is a far better protector of odours than skin, otherwise there would be no evolutionary necessity for it
