Ive recently received a couple of good verifications, does it help when people look at my profile seeing these and give me a better chance of more liasions?

I think it does help - as it shows you actually meet as opposed to the numerous time wasters here!

We like reading veris and then make of them what we will ranging from bull crap to "he/she/they seem okay" but they count (to us anyway) for little more then the fact you've met someone, web cammed etc,. We prefer to trust our judgement via exchanges whatever type that is but veris do get us initially interested, so........

Verifications prove nothing. It may help with some people though.

One or even two can be fake. But if some has more then it proves to me that:

- they actually meet people than just bash on a keyboard here all day long

- resemble somewhat like what they describe themselves

- are the sex they claim to be. Applies generally to women and couples, but it is possible that there are women here too pretending to be men

Verifications are nearly always positive. It would be good to score as on trip advisor. Some are good in parts and not good in others.

We would use caution for those without verifications but it is not a bar to an approach or meeting.

My verifications have generated a lot off interest, along with a decent message. And have been fortunate enough to have meets based on my first message and my verifications. So I would say it helps a great deal!

I'm not completely knocking them but some use language that reminds me of how estate agents describe houses - take them with a pinch of salt - you'll never see a bad one!

Haha I can imagine the following:

"compact and bijou" = short arse

"deceptively spacious" = overweight

"sought after" = very low standards

"lots of character" = wrinkly all over

they prove you are real and you do turn up, which is always a good thing, a positive thing.

that said, i'd hide them. they arn't exactly sparkling examples of humankind.

I think they probably help but I wouldn't rely on them totally.

Myself personally, I normally read the most recent few veries, I also look at the profile of those senders then go see what veries they have written for others. If it reads the same then I know to ignore it.

Also if someone has 100's of veries that tends to put me off.

I've never decided to meet someone based on their verifications, I have met a few newbies with none, we all have to start someone and not being verified does not always mean a time waster sometimes it simply means no one's taken a chance on them yet, I've only ever had one no show while I've been on here and that was by a verified guy so all because someone turned up for their last meet does not mean they will turn up for you
