Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

A chat with my ex this evening strayed onto whether spending NYE at a club is ok or just a bit sad.

As I'll be on my own this NYE I have been considering whether it's worth finding a Fab-type thing to do.

What are your thoughts about they hype of NYE, going to clubs on NYE and spending it alone?

But it might be nice to end the year with a bonk.

near derby.

We've spent past NYEs at Liberty, Chams and this year going to Xtasia. It's a great night, everyone dressed up in posh frocks and suits till midnight, then...Wahey party time! It's not too expensive and a good laugh. Better than a pub/nightclub!

Just as a fYI anyone thinking of going to Chams it will be rammed as fuck.

And something else..

It's boiling HOT ordinarily never mind NYE.

It might be better now..but it was bloody HOT.

It's a massive sauna. Basically.

Last time I was there with a lady friend she nearly passed out with the heat...had to sit on the staircase in the firedoor with bottles of water.

So just be aware it will be packed out NYE.

As mentioned below Eureka is great NYE.

If you are a single lady going to a club that night you will be welcomed by everyone and will have the time of your life!

Some clubs let single ladies in free at parties, they are so sought after.

Go for it, have a great time, come back here and share the stories... And maybe some pics

I wouldn't go to a swingers club on NYE, I always have family around, we don't go anywhere special but stay in and talk.

I'm a traditionalist I guess, I like home and family at Christmas, I bet they're great nights at clubs if you're looking for something a little decadent though

We might do something but it's unlikely. If we do it'll be Tease or VA as no chance we'll consider going to a vanilla pub. But it's a ridiculously busy week at work for me, we are at a party the Saturday before and will be at Anti-Christ on Jan 2nd so doubt we'll bother

Can definitely recommend Xtasia NYE party. I went last year with a lovely lady (who actually only lived 4 miles from the club) and we also spent the night in the local Premier Inn.

Sadly she has now left the site (very much missed Suzy). But I am considering going again this year....any offers to come with me?

I've been chams a few times new years eve it gets to busy for me, you have no chance of getting a room or in the jacuzzi, takes half a hour to get a drink and even socialising is hard as every time you stop to talk you cause a bottle neck

I'm at r3tro this year, I'm working till 9 then shooting straight over, have a shower and changed when I get there

Zurich. NOT London.

We are off to Amour in Manchester for NYE.

Christmas is the family thing, NYE is for fun and friends. Done Abs, The VA and Chams over the years, but had such a blast at Amour on visits this year, we are heading north for much fun and frolics.

Looking forward to it already! YAY!

I've always done vanilla pubs/nightclubs in the past with friends but this year want to do something different.

Never been to a swingers club before on new years eve so gonna try it this year, will either be Chams or xtasia as they are both quite local for me.
