"Hmm well I've verifiied them & apparently they've tried 3 times & not one has appeared in for me to see?? Hmm " I would say they havnt verified you but are saying that have rather than saying they dont want to If they have been verified themsleves they can verify you, ive verified loads of people and never had this peoblem, and every time someone has verified me it has come thro The only time you can not verify someone is if the accounts have the saem IP address, this is to stop you setting up numerous accounts and verifying yourself

Not all ISP's use "static" IP addresses so everytime you log onto your PC/router the IP address could be a different one to the time before. So it is possible for 2 people to, at some point, share an IP address even although they are not in the same house. AOL seems to be one of the ISPs that does this.

"you can't share an ip number unless your on the same network (in the same house). if more than one customer had the same ip number at the same time the internet wouldn't work. be a bit like you having the same phone number as somebody else." they are like lottery numbers, they change, so it can happen, and as someone has said, AOL is famous for it, as for telephone i can remember when you did share lines, was like a chat line

As for a static IP address, we have to pay extra for a static one as we need one for work.
