I haven't done mine yet. Tbh as time goes on I'm turning more and more into a giant bah humbug - it just seems a lot of hassle and I've got loads going on right now. Guess who doesn't have the Christmas spirit yet?

I take mine down New Years Eve. A great aunt once told me it was unlucky to have the decorations up twice in the same year. Made sense to me

Mine went up last weekend, because my kids were here - and to be honest, they are the only reason I have one.

It will be coming down New Years Eve

In previous years I've had it up ready for the morning of the 1st due to children's adverts calenders so it feels festive but this year I've only just put it up

We've been very lazy, one small fibre-optic pre lit job, a few danglies on it and a few bits we bought at the German markets.

Boom, job done.

Us too, they get reduced to 1p in a well known DIY chain on Christmas Eve! My OH loves a bargain...

"Mine won't go up until the weekend before Christmas."

Same here. Having a house with a log burner means things get dusty quite quickly, even worse with an open fire! Having said that, even the outside deccys don`t go up until the same sort of time!

"The switching on of the lights is a big thing in my family "

My tree lights only get switched on when my kids are here.

So that was last weekend, will be next weekend and then from Boxing day to New Years Eve.
