Healthy breathing takes a couple of minutes. I may do some yoga or meditation, possibly some self hypnosis. Otherwise I exercise regularly anyway. So some form of exercise would work. A walk, some time in nature, a good laugh with friends, pet therapy too.

First I get rid of the physical emotion by boxing, running, gym. Then I cross stitch or play with my tarot cards. I don't believe in the tarot cards, but they are a very old set given to me by a family member and they just help calm me.

Take my medication. I suffer with anxiety and severe stress and my nerves become fraught. It's the only thing that helps when I'm really bad. It's surprising how being stressed can alter your ability to cope with the smallest of things
