I have used both in the past, and prefer MSN.

I use both of them and both have their good & bad points, more so now that you can add msn addresses to yahoo messenger and vice versa.

If you have pics on your pc that you added to your profile here then you can use any of them as your pic on msn or yahoo.

Cams and mics do worl on both too or they wouldn't be much use as messaging programs.

PM me if you need any help setting any of it up!

We use MSN all the time and have a long list of friends who we chat to, perhaps on a two week cycle (some more, some less) Also have Yahoo, but most not on there so not really much use.

Have a skype addy too.. Like using that even more!

what i meant earlier is that if your on yahoo talking to a person on msn , you cant see there avatar , and you cant cam etc

it says "some features dont work"

or can you set it up so they do ?

Need to do this as a general answer for everyone - for a certain reason you will know about

But yes I have had it working before with msn addresses on yahoo and vice-versa, easy peasy to set up when you know how

Oddly, it was Yahoo! messenger that gave me a BSOD on an otherwise perfectly stable pc. I've never installed it since.

I used to use msn a lot to keep in touch with my mistress. However, we had lots on freeze ups and could hard understand what she was saying. We now started to use Yahoo and find it great.
