So your on the site browsing about etc... then you click on MY ACCOUNT and it says you have No new messages, no New friend reuqests but you have 1 new wink.. so you click it and yeah, somebody has winked at you...

what are you meant to do with that? so somebody WINKS at YOU and yet YOUR the one whos now got to make the effort by sending a message!?!? isnt that just lazy of the original winker lol dont see the point in that at alllllllllll lol

Sure im horny all the time n stuff like that.. but im just tooooo shy in person! And as covered in a thread I did a few weeks ago, im too ugly for a girl to even wink at me anyway lol just doesnt happen! and yeah if a girl DID want me, and said she did to my face i still wouldnt believe it (im not that lucky lol) confidence thing, i just dont think im good enough for anyone n dont think anyone would "tap this" haha! :D

i would much rather recieve a wink than be passed over!,have followed up some winks and had very good meets and find the wink a very good way to break the ice and show an interest,i mean in real life at a bar,disco or whatever you have to show a way of getting your initial interest over to the opposite sex and you used to wink too see if you got any response didn't you?,those that think it lazy and do not respond are missing out on good meets for sure.

If more people used winks it would make this site a lot less time consuming.

Winks aren't that popular so I send messages instead, but sending a wink would be a whole lot more productive than sending a friendly, non-offensive message only to get blocked in return.

A simple wink and wink back and then a message would work a whole lot better and save a lot of time-wasting.

We love winks, if we didn't we would just ignore them.

Someone winks us, we like them, we wink back, easy

Someone winks us, we don't want to take things further we ignore it, easy

On the other hand if someone mails us and we are not interested we have to mail them back and tell them so because we answer all mails.

Often these mails are one liners like "hi how are you today"

5 mails later it gets to the "do you want to meet, swap pics, chat on msn, suck my dick, so 5 mails wasted passing the time of day with someone you will never meet.

The only time we don't like winks is when we cannot decide if we like the people or not, ie when they don't have pictures or when they only have pictures of one of them, how can we wink back saying we like them, and if we don't wink back we are saying we don't like them yet if we saw them we might

No, it is not... the option is there for a reason. Some like to use it, some do not. I do ... sometimes. Dont beat yourself up - use if you you feel like it and if you wink at me... I shall reciprocate x

I dont mind winks at all, i dont see it as lazy, i just see it that it gives me the opportunity to check out their profile, if i like i either wink back or send them a message. They may not necessarily be winking for contact, they may be just winking because they like what they see, similar to wolfwhistling at someone sexy
